Leonard has over 20 years’ experience as a financial advisor to public and private sector clients across Africa. He has led advisory mandates to conduct feasibility studies and develop business plans and financial models for innovative infrastructure projects, investment funds, and companies, and has helped to raise more than USD 1 billion capital across various sectors. Before founding AIS Capital, Leonard was a Managing Director at Lion’s Head Global Partners, where he was the head of the Nairobi office.

Daniel has more than 11 years of experience in investment banking and strategic financial advisory including designing strategies and innovative financial structures focused on supporting corporates, governments, investors, and development actors. Previously, he was a Director at Cygnum Capital (formerly trading as Lion’s Head Group), a frontier and Emerging Markets investment bank where he focused on sovereign-related investment banking, ratings advisory, capital raising, and development finance. Before Cygnum Capital, he was a Project Leader at Open Capital, a management consulting and financial advisory firm that drives growth and enables investment across Africa. Daniel has a Masters in Development Finance.

Stephanie has 8 years’ experience in management consulting and financial analysis. Previously, she was a Senior Associate at the Health Finance Coalition (HFC), a non-profit organization focused on initiatives that contribute to bridging the healthcare financing gap in Africa and other developing markets. Prior to joining HFC, Stephanie was a Project Leader at Open Capital Advisors (OCA), an Africa-based management consulting and financial advisory firm. At OCA, she was instrumental in developing agriculture and gender strategies and designing high-impact interventions for global philanthropic funders. She provided strategic and financial advisory to e-mobility and WASH sector companies and was a key part of the team that co-authored the 2022 Off-grid Solar Market Trends Report. Stephanie begun her career in real estate and investment analysis at Cytonn Investments.

Kennedy brings expertise in corporate and project finance advisory. He has experience in M&A deals, external audits, review of internal controls and preparation of financial statements. Prior to joining AIS Capital Advisors, Kennedy was a Senior Consultant at PKF Consulting Limited in Corporate Finance focussing on due diligence for M&A and capital raising, feasibility studies and business valuations. Kennedy has previously worked at PWC Rwanda Ltd and PKF Rwanda Ltd in Audit and Assurance

Bachelor of Business Science in Financial Economics: Strathmore University

Cynthia has more than 3 years of experience across private credit, blended finance, and SME investments in Africa. She has structured and managed debt transactions across agribusiness, healthcare and fintech sectors, with a focus on cash flow-based lending, risk assessment, and financial modelling to support early-stage and locally led enterprises. Her background spans alternative investments, fintech, ESG advisory, and public sector investment promotion. Prior to joining AIS Capital, Cynthia worked as an Investment Analyst at Haba Capital, where she structured and managed short-term working capital facilities for SMEs, led financial due diligence and risk assessments, and supported the deployment and monitoring of blended finance solutions.
